Sermon Questions Ecclesiastes2:17-26

1. Have you ever gotten something that you’d wanted for a long time but once you got it, it never quite delivered? Tell that story.

2. Describe the several things that frustrate the writer of this passage.

3. Do you agree that there are two competing life scripts for humans, GETTING or GIVING? Explain why you agree or disagree.

4. Tell the story of how has God challenged you about your getting and your giving?

5. Explain how Jesus gave Himself and how that has begun to shape your life.
