Sermon Questions Amos 9:8-15

1. Describe  a low point in your life, did you ever think you’d come out  of it.

2. God says he’ll destroy the sinful kingdom, that would have included a bunch of people. Sounds like bad news. Describe how the holiness of God is good news.

3. What message is God sending when He says He’ll ‘restore David’s fallen shelter’?

4. Explain “when the reaper will be overtaken by the ploughman”.

5. God loves pictures of ruined cities restored, fruitful vineyards and verdant gardens. What does this say about God’s joy for what He created?
