I’m the Dennis, mentioned in the sermon. I too, never forget that day.
Christine and I were searching for the Church we felt God was calling us to become part of, when we moved to Stoney Creek. I had just been asked to be the Administrator for Christian Service Brigade Canada. It meant a move from Sask. We had visited several churches, but when we came to your church, very quickly, we both knew, this is where we belonged. When we asked our Pastoral family to come for dinner, I felt somehow we needed to let them know, we were not something special, just ordinary country people. Thank you Andrew, God’s richest blessings.
