Prayer Wednesday

November 11, 2020   ·   Leave a Comment

“He will judge between the nations
And will settle disputes for many peoples
They will beat their swords into plowshares
And their spears into pruning hooks.

Nation will not take up sword against nation,
Nor will they train for war anymore.”

On this day we pray for peace for the nations. We’re grateful for those who have served their countries in peace-keeping and peace-pursuing roles.

Lord, we ask your kindness and healing for them, they’ve seen things humans shouldn’t see. We pray for countries where peace is still out of reach. Lord, in your mercy, settle disputes and bring justice. As we dream of a new day—where enemies are loved and forgiven, where reconciliation and peace reign instead of hatred and division—we fix our eyes on You.

Holding our planet and its nations before our Lord with you this day.

Andrew
