I have been involved with The Navigators of Canada since 2016 in a campus staff role, starting at Queens University as an intern and more recently with the University of Waterloo and Wilfred Laurier University. Over the past several years I’ve had the opportunity to come alongside university students and young adults, providing context such as studying scripture, reading books, and community outreach, as we learn more about Jesus together.
I continue to meet with students and young adults today, while also taking increased leadership with the organization. One of my main responsibilities is being part of a team focused on the strategic vision of our campus ministries. As a team, we are focused on strengthening and encouraging our campus ministries across the country.
I also have been invited into development opportunities such as supervision training, and to be part of small teams that are focused on advancing our vision of empowering followers of Christ in life on life disciple-making.
Through the support of St. Paul’s, I have been able to take on these responsibilities and be a part of teams that bring me immense joy. I am incredibly thankful for this community that played a major part in my childhood development. I would love to explain more about what I am doing and what The Navigators are about for those interested.
