We want to partner with what Jesus is doing in our immediate neighbourhoods and around the globe. Your donations enable us to hire staff, offer care and discipleship, maintain a building for church and community use, and support missions locally and globally.
Here are some common questions about giving. Feel free to reach out with any other questions that you have.
E-transfer: Send an email to treasurer@saintpauls.ca from your bank account. (Here are instructions for doing that from CIBC, ScotiaBank, BMO, TD, and RBC.) You will need to send your password separately to our treasurer.
Cheque: Drop a cheque made out to St. Paul's Leaskdale Church in the giving box in the foyer, or mail it to us at PO Box 104, Leaskdale, ON L0C 1C0.
Pre-Authorized Debit: Contact us for more information and a form to complete.
Donations are charged to your credit card by a service called Tithe.ly.
When you give online, you will have the option of setting up an account with a PIN. Logging in again using that PIN will give you access to all of your details, including previous donations. If you choose to set up a recurring donation, you will be able to cancel or change it at any time.
You will get a transaction receipt right away. This is proof that the payment has cleared.
At the end of the year, we will send you a charitable donation receipt for all of your direct-to-SPL donations for the year. Donation receipts are issued by the end of February for the year prior (i.e. Feb. 28, 2021 for all donations in 2020).
CanadaHelps will directly send you your donation receipt based on your preferences. If you opted to bundle your receipts annually, then it will be available for you at the end of the year; otherwise, you will get a charitable donation receipt with each transaction.
