    KidZone FAQs

Find answers to your questions about KidZone below.

    • What do kids do in KidZone?

Nursery (6 - 35 months) - Our leaders will facilitate free play with a variety of fun toys, colouring pages, and books to read in the Nursery Room.

Little Blessings (3 years to JK) - Our teachers will lead a lesson that includes a Bible story, craft, games, singing, prayer, activities and free play in the Little Blessings Room.

KidZone (SK - Grade 5) - Kids will join their group split by age: Sk-Grade 1, Grade 2-3 and Grade 4-5 and start in the classroom indicated by the posters outside the room.  Each group will rotate to 3 stations throughout the morning with their group leaders: Bible, Worship/Games, and Crafts.

We creatively invite kids into a growing relationship with Jesus. We aim to teach the Bible in engaging, creative, and interactive ways with an emphasis on age appropriate learning  building relationships and community, ensuring a safe and fun time for everyone!

    • When can kids check in?

Check-In: We will begin welcoming families to check in their children at 8:45 AM for our 9 AM service. We also follow a secure check in and check out process to ensure the safety of your child.

    • Are snacks provided?

We do not offer snacks during KidZone time unless it is a special occasion, as indicated in our SPL Friday emails and posters during check-in. The nursery will never have snacks or drinks provided.

    • What else should I know?

Washroom: Please have your child use the washroom prior to checking them into KidZone.

Shoes: Our Games station involves running in our gym! Please ensure your child's shoes are safe to run in.

Gym after services: Children are welcome to play in the gym after the service, and parents are to supervise their child to ensure safety and kind play. This is a great time to get to know other families.

Classroom Safety: For our kids' safety, classrooms are closed after KidZone is finished.
