    Who is Jesus?

    Our beliefs

We think that Jesus is a big deal.

We think that Jesus is a big deal. The biggest deal actually! King of the Universe, Maker of all things, Saviour of the World. Those are epic claims for a former carpenter turned Jewish Rabbi circa 30 A.D..

No one else has done what he did. No one else claimed to be God and backed it up. No one else did what was needed to tackle shame and death like Jesus did.

One of the amazing things about Jesus, who is God Almighty, is that when he showed up in person, it wasn’t with shock and awe; it wasn’t with scolding or shaming. Instead, he came quietly, incognito. He developed the reputation of being the friend of sinners. So, no need to dress up for Jesus; he starts with us right where we are.

We’d love to introduce you to Him.

“Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon; or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.” - C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

    What’s Next

Jesus said he came so we could have abundant life and eternal life. What do you think that will look like? Are you interested?

The ‘hitch’ with Jesus isn’t that you have to be good enough to get abundant life; every religion teaches that, but not Jesus. The ‘hitch’ is that His life can only come when you surrender your life. Jesus said: “Pick up your cross and follow me.” That’s a clear invitation to give up what we can’t keep in order to gain what we can’t lose. Interested?
