Ruth: Jesus Is Our Kinsman Redeemer

Angelica Atkins · Listen

Sermon Questions Ruth 4

1. What does it mean to be redeemed?  Redeemed from what?  Redeemed for what?  How have you seen or experienced redemption in your life?

2. In Ruth, God uses the most unlikely people at the most unlikely time to bring about the most unexpected ending.  How does this bring you hope here and now?

3. Boaz, the guardian-redeemer, lived a life of prayerful attention to God and people.  How is prayer for you?

4. Life in God’s kingdom and participation in His redemption work is costly.  What might you need to give up to be all in with Jesus?  What would it cost you to go your own way instead?
